| PATTERNS OF ETERNITY: SACRED GEOMETRY AND THE STARCUT DIAGRAM 14 February 2010 Sunday 18:00 - 19:30 Malcolm Stewart
This illustrated presentation by Malcolm Stewart, is based on his recent book of the same name. Malcolm is a real life example of Robert Langdon of the Da Vinci Code fame. He has discovered a remarkable geometrical device with a widespread, but hidden, history. It underlies some of the world’s greatest sacred symbols. He calls it the ‘starcut diagram’. It has extraordinary mathematical properties, that may be the source of the number system used when ancient humanity first built cities. The diagram underlies, in China: the shaman’s dance; in Egypt: the Great Pyramid; in Greece a whole range of Pythagorean lore; in Europe: a Raphael fresco; in Asia: the Vedic Fire Altar.Malcolm Stewart has been a priest, singer-songwriter, editor, cartoonist, and artist and stained glass designer. £7, £5 concessions - arranged by Foundation for Theosophical Studie |
